Galloped for Jim Bausch, a thirty horse outfit, and received my okay out of the gates November 11,1995, for my Apprentice Jockey license. Rode first race and ran 2nd on an 80-1 and got beat a nose. Won 3 races with only 3 weeks left in the meet.

Ended the 3 month meet as 4th leading rider and leading apprentice and ran 2nd in the $250,000.00 Jean Laffite 2 Year Old Stake Race.

Left due to severe weather and track conditions and wasn't able to break the ice for a proper agent so that I could use my apprentice time wisely.

Shattered collarbone when horse broke both front legs in the tenth race. This delivered myself a four-month vacation. Full recovery at the end of July.

Began to ride as a journeyman and remained in the top ten riding standings.

Rode as journeyman and remained in the top 15 and had a wonderful meet. Since then I have decided to take a break and spend time with my family. Being a mother of two and having spent a lot of time away on the road, I decided it was time to settle down and be a "mom" for a year or so.
